About K and S Tree Service

A local crew that plans the job before it starts a saw.

Built on controlled work

Built on controlled work

K and S Tree Service is an Leonard based tree crew that plans a job before it starts a saw. We walk the drop zone, explain what comes down and what stays, and put the scope in writing before any climbing begins.

Work gets sequenced around the weather rather than against it: canopy reduction ahead of the windy stretch, and cleanup crews ready for the days after a storm passes through. That timing is what keeps a trimming job from turning into a removal.

  • Rigged, Not DroppedLimbs come down on ropes when there is a roof, fence, or pool cage underneath. What is below the tree decides how the tree comes apart.
  • Upfront PricingYou get a written quote covering the trees, the access, and the haul away before a crew is scheduled. The number you approve is the number on the invoice.
  • Ready for Storm SeasonCanopies are thinned and weight reduced ahead of the windy months, and crews stay staged for the cleanup afterward. That rhythm is set by the storm season, not a generic calendar.

Our Mission

We exist to make a nervous job feel controlled. Most people call about a tree once or twice, usually because something has started to worry them, so our job is to explain what the tree is doing and what it needs.

That means honest assessments, written scopes, and crews who leave the ground raked and the property usable the same day.

What We Stand For

Control

Nothing comes down until the drop zone, the rigging, and the exit path are settled. A job that looks slow from the street is usually one where nothing had to be guessed.

Judgment

A tree that can be kept is trimmed rather than removed, even when removal is the larger invoice. Reading the trunk and root plate honestly matters more than the bigger job.

Care

Turf, beds, and driveways are protected before equipment crosses them, and the ground is raked before the crew loads up. A finished job leaves the yard usable that same day.
